Hi all,

I wonder if any vray experts out there can help me with a problem.
Basically I am making an indicator for a car or a "turn light" for the Americans heh heh.

I want the glass to be orange, but whatever I try the glass always seems to be not orange.

Everything is right with the glass except for the colour.

Now I have tried darkening or lghtening both the reflection, and refraction, and it changed things but still no colour.

Now some tutorials say to put the colour in the reflection and some say to put the colour in the fog slot. I have tried both, with no success.

I am using irradience and lightcache.

I am going to attach an image of my settings. I will be eternally grateful if anyone can help.

I found a few tutorials as well, and followed them but for some reason I am not getting the results I want.

I know how to do this in mentalray, but vray can be rather difficult LOL.

Hi all,

I have finally solved my problem and I am posting the solution here for anyone else who may be having problems getting it right.

The answer was simple, and it was to increase the fog multiplier to 4.6. With a black diffuse and white reflection and refraction.

I have spent a total of 3 weeks trying to get this glass correct. Well I did other things too LOL, including building another game model heh heh.

This is for a high poly project. Not sparing the polygons at all here.
